The fishing boats hauled up on shore in the Old Town of Hastings, are an important part of the community. Hastings has the largest beach-launched fishing fleet in the country. It is always excites me to watch the boats on shore while the fisherman gut the fish. One will make seagull noises and all will start swooping in and squawking, whilst waiting to pounce on the leftovers. |
